Our new American Whiskey is crafted to perfection, inviting whiskey enthusiasts and cocktail lovers to savor its exceptional quality and unique flavor profiles, making it an ideal choice for creating exquisite cocktails.
After complete maturation in charred new American oak barrels, the journey continues with secondary maturation in our exclusive used toasted barrels, featuring the lightest Char #1 level. In collaboration with our cooperage partner, we've meticulously developed 17 proprietary barrels with a variety of toasts for the secondary aging of our whiskey. Extensive research revealed that heavy toasting, varying the time and temperature, creates diverse flavor profiles, from sweet and spicy to smoky. These barrels are then lightly charred to a #1 level, chosen to preserve caramelized wood sugars.
The blending of these barrels grants Buzzard’s Roost an endless combination of flavors, introducing complexity and richness into our whiskey.
• Nose: Roasted nuts with hints of cinnamon.
• Palate: Savory vanilla, roasted almonds, with hints of cinnamon and spice.
• Finish: Long & warm, with lingering notes of sweet cinnamon.
