If you've heard the buzz about the wines from Sicily's Mount Etna, and you want to try one of the best, look no further than Terre Nere. Made from Carricante grapes, grown on the northern slopes of the Etna volcano, Terre Nere's bottling shows the remarkable mineral component of the grape, while having an exuberant fruit quality as well. It's fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks; no oak. So all that flavor comes from the grapes grown on that special volcanic soil. We could drink this all day!!! 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico, 5% Minnella from vineyards located on the northern slopes of the Etna volcano at 600-900 meters above sea level. After harvest at the beginning of October, the grapes go through a soft pressing and low temperature fermentation in stainless steel. Lacy and floating. Ripe Asian pear, saline and mineral, Lime, acacia, peach and spice. Quenching and mouth watering.
