The enticing aromatics draw you in, and the intense, lush, rich palate incorporate blackberry, licorice and anise flavors underlain with spearmint and loam. Strong, chalky mountain tannins that are already beginning to soften show the age-ability of this wine, though today it is already inviting and delicious.
