- Master distiller Enrique Fonseca at Tequilena in the town of Tequila, using highland grown agaves
- Total aging of almost 3 years, first in Cabernet Franc wine barrels, then laid into toasted, ex-Tennessee Rye American white oak
- Stainless steel fermentation with Mendoza wine yeast
