Here we have a bottle of rum bottled for Turning Tables Nola, an organization that advocates for equity in the hospitality industry by provided mentorship, educational tools, and platforms for exposure in a system of support for black and brown communities in New Orleans.
The rum was distilled in collaboration with Porchjam distillery, which is located in New Orleans. This rum is made from fresh pressed cane juice that was grown in Louisiana. The cane was crushed, fermented, and distilled on a combination of pot and column stills. It was then rested in a demijohn from 2020 till it was bottled in 2023.
